Dive In 2019 to take place in Hong Kong at 25th September

Dive In 2019 to take place in 33 countries worldwide

  • Dive In takes place in record number of locations for its fifth year, with events in 67 cities worldwide
  • Festival gathers the support of 20 gold sponsors
  • Campaign urges the global insurance industry to create #inclusionimpact

The Dive In Festival, which promotes diversity and inclusion in the global insurance sector, marks a milestone as it reaches its fifth year, with a record number of countries expected to host events. Events will be spread across three days from 24th – 26th September in 33 countries.

Event registration started from 11th July when insurance professionals will be able to browse and sign up for events in their nearest city via the website [www.diveinfestival.com] or the new app, available on Android or Apple. The Dive In Hong Kong event will be held on 25th September, 14:00-18:30 at RPC Hong Kong.

The festival has garnered global support from no fewer than 20 gold sponsors from across the industry. The festival sponsors this year are confirmed as: Aon, AIG, Aviva, AXA XL, Chubb, CNA Hardy, DLA Piper, Gallagher, Kennedys Law, Lloyd’s, Markel, Marsh & Guy Carpenter, Miller, MS Amlin, Oliver James, PwC, RSA, RMS, Willis Towers Watson, and Zurich.

The 2019 festival builds on last year’s campaign of developing ‘awareness into action’ inviting festival-goers to consider ways to make an impact, under this year’s theme of #inclusionimpact. Since its inception in 2015, the Dive In Festival has sought to accelerate the progress of D&I within the global insurance industry, highlighting the business case for diverse and inclusive workplaces, providing practical ideas and inspiration for how to bring about positive change.

“I am delighted that the Chartered Insurance Institute is once again participating in the festival, the CII events will be looking at how we unlock talent. Thank you to our partnering organisations and speakers, it truly is a wonderful example of how our united profession continues to collaborate and unite as we evolve our inclusion conversations to actions that make a positive impact.  I look forward to seeing many of you at the events as we continue to turn conversations to actions and impact” Tali Shlomo People Engagement Director.

The Dive In festival also launches its new website this year: www.diveinfestival.com which includes a curated video learning library of D&I content from the last four Dive In festivals, a history of the festival, and learning resources from previous years.
